Protects rather well in the rain As the fabric is thick as well as the rods. I love that it's compact. But it is a little heavy. I also love that it's not your old school umbrella because of it's auto open/close option. And built better as well. Very sleek & stylish design and fits well in the hand. Very sturdy velcro close. I could see myself using this well into the future.
All and all 5 stars from me. As its rather unique and up to dat with the times
